So I was thinking. You seemed interested in magic, and I can't teach it to you, but if I started trying to experiment with it to see what I can do, would you like to help me work out the theory behind it?

Obviously I don't have much of the material and sources I'd have in Ferelden, but I think I could teach you enough to help me with the theoretical aspects.

That's what I thought.

I don't know what I want to do yet, but I want to figure out a way to do things without tools I'm used to having and make the tools that I've never had to make myself before, if nothing else.

The first thing I need to figure out is how to get a staff or a bow properly treated with magic to act as a focusing device, without blowing it or us up, and I could use all the help I can get on that front.

Though I think we should go outside the walls on Mor for that. Just in case.
