[ there's nothing dismissive about tadashi's tone. he isn't even pretending, now - instead, he's just sitting down on the bed so he can make the hug a little less awkward. ]
[and when he does that, hiro just presses his face into his shoulder because he's not sure if the waterworks are gonna stop. he's keeping them under wraps pretty well, though.]

[ tadashi sighs, tucking his chin on the top of hiro's head. he's trying to inject some playfulness into this, making as if he's attempting to smother hiro as he does. ]

[his grip tightens.]
Wouldn't be the same, though. I don't think you get what you did, Tadashi. Baymax is... incredible. He learned language, could take subtle hints... he's amazing.
[ okay, so, tadashi might sound a little awed here. not necessarily at himself: maybe he put the programming together, but it still had to carry its own weight. maybe he's just marveling at the fact that something like that is possible at all.
or possibly he's just relieved beyond words at the realization that he left something behind for hiro to care about - and to care for hiro. ]
