Yes, well...we lost a lot of people there. Friends, Family... [Lovers.] It's taken a toll on all of us. ...Sometimes I feel, it was hard on Ino especially.

[Allen was used to traveling, to saying goodbye to people and never seeing them again. Crowley, well, it's just part of being immortal. But Ino came from a village where she knew the same people all her life. Not that there weren't losses in Konoha, but...it was different. Not to mention, Ino always was more social than Allen was. She knew more people. You know more people, you have more people to lose]

So...if they ever do decide to stop...dancing around and get together- [he gives a little sigh] I'll just pray they're together a very long time.

... I will, too. She's really amazing, and my brother deserves to have the best with the time he has left.

[If they were in person, Allen would probably flick him in the forehead at that remark]

I've known loads of people dead back in their world who hung around for years and years.

Trust me, I would never.

Yeah, but no matter what, it probably won't be the amount of time he should have gotten to have to spend with someone that makes him that happy. I just want him to live as much as he can while he has the chance. Who knows, maybe something could happen and we could all die tomorrow. It's not like it just applies to him.

We'd probably just be brought back. That's how these places tend to work.

But...you're right. He has a second chance at life here. He deserves to get a chance to live it as much as he can. Just like Ino deserves to have some happiness in her life.

Heh- don't worry. If there's one thing I've discovered from clinic work- it's that there's always enough work to go around. [It's what he liked about it, honestly.]

Ah, don't worry! It's rarely as dramatic as they show in the movies. [Keyword: rarely]

By work I mean much more mundane things- cleaning things out, doing laundry, running tests, filling out paperwork, checking and gathering supplies...and more. We don't have nearly the level of staff a hospital usually has, so you end up having to do all the work that'd be delegated to nurses, janitors and specialists on top of seeing patients.

So...I'm afraid your brother hardly got a glamorous augment. Though it is important!
