[more cracking up aaaaand making gross hawking up a loogie noises, yes tadashi your brother is threatening to spit into your open mouth]

[ aaaaaaaaaaand his teeth click shut ]

[are you mouthbreathing with your fucking teeth shut do you even know what sound that makes

[how are you not laughing as hard as your brother is because hiro cannot breathe now]

[ HIS STOMACH LEGITIMATELY HURTS FROM HOLDING IT IN. he then stretches and yawns, cracking one eye open, before gathering hiro up like an oversized teddybear and shoving his face into his shoulder. ]

Goodnight, little brother.

[Hiro makes resistant noises (but not motions) when he does that... but then he's sneaking his arms up and straight-up wrapping them around Tadashi's head.

[He sighs. Dramatically.]

Goodnight, big brother.

[ tadashi yaaawns widely and settles. after a long moment of silence, however, he'll finally murmur: ]

If you drool on me I'm throwing you out of an airlock.

[ LOOK HE'S TRYING TO BE THE GOOD NORMAL BIG BROTHER nothing is wrong he's not dwelling on the fact that he's dead he's not crushed with guilt and regret. if he pretends REALLY HARD... ]

You love me too much.

[Said in a drawling tone, he doesn't believe that for a second.]

... M'sorry I've been a pain the back end this week.

[Quieter. The realization he had about Aunt Cass last night has not stopped eating at him, and he's starting to think about all the other ways he was a pain in the ass to people. It's only natural he'd land here eventually.]

[ishere]

[ -- huh? that catches him off guard. mostly because it seems sincere. lazily, he just sort of jabs hiro in the side with his fingers. ]

You haven't been.

[everydayhero]

[He jerks a little bit, and squeezes Tadashi's head on purpose.]

I have. You're the one who got the news.

... So I'm not gonna be a pain like that anymore, okay?

[ishere]

[ silence. a looong silence. ]

We'll talk about this tomorrow.

... Alright.

[He puts his face against his arm over Tadashi's head, closing his eyes.]

... Love you, big brother.

[ishere]

You do? Ugh, you are so lame.

[ he pinches his side again, very lightly, before settling in for sleep himself. ]

But I guess I love you too.

Ah--jerk.

[tugging his hair just a little. but then he's going to settle back in.]

Go to sleep, loser.

[ishere]

Don't tell me what to do, nerd.

[ but he's sleepy and comfy and clearly ready to doze :') ]

[just. have this long-suffering sigh, and then hiro's closing his eyes again. goodnight, tadashi.]
